Update Time! Wallet Hey everyone, hope you're all well. It's about time to give you an update on how things are progressing with the wallet and EQTY ecosystems. The team at Hacken have started the security audit for the wallet. Immediately they have picked up on how we store some assets which needs to be revisited so the team has started the process of the dev work there. We have also revisited the Ownables > NFT bridge. The system we built is decentralized but it relies on interaction between our app and various NFT wallet apps from within a user's phone. This was being problematic and not always predictable so I re-imagined the architecture for a new bridge which we will called alphaBridge and this bridge will serve as a more industrial strength solution but it will also be a little less glamorous. The aim is to have a system that works and allows users to start connecting their Ownables with NFT marketplaces, and this needs to exist and be reliable from day 1. The new bridge will be a custodial bridge. When you want to bridge your Ownable to an NFT, you send your Ownable to the bridge. The Ownable will live in the bridge and the Bridge will then send you an NFT that is hardcoded to match with your Ownable. Once a user trades or sells this NFT or simply wants to bridge it back, whoever is holding the NFT can present it to the bridge and the bridge will verify it and then send you the matching Ownable to your LTO wallet. It's a pretty simple system, less decentralized, but it will be a rock solid approach to having a reliable bridge at launch, this is because there are a lot less moving parts in this approach. We have had to then implement some small changes to the Ownables Builder. Most of that is happenin this week and next, then the wallet devs will add it to the iOS and Android app the week after. We are awaiting further results from the audit from Hacken. They will complete this process once the new bridge is integrated. EQTY Update. We had a whitepaper for EQTY planned but I've decided to make it a litepaper as we want to protect the technology behind the platform before launch. Rick has already connected with some launch partners, but this is a huge project and is a little further down the line. I will release the EQTY litepaper, there's a 90% finished version, but right now I'm hyper focused on the wallet. New BD We have a new team member. Joining us is a new Business Developer. He's a machine and we are looking forward to having him help us grow our partnerships.
